Ajit Srivastava, Ph.D., FAHA.

Dr. Srivastava has 31 years of research and teaching experience, most of them in the area of molecular biology, biotechnology and drug discovery. He has experience of developing molecular biology and biotechnology trainings and teaching to graduate students at the University of Missouri, Saint Louis, and Washington University School of Medicine, Saint Louis, USA. A short workshop based on this course was organized at the University of Palermo, Italy. Dr. Srivastava has also served in Biotech and large Pharmaceutical Industries in USA in a leadership role and directed drug discovery efforts.

About the Training:

This is a rigorous and comprehensive 1-4 months Training/Workshop in Biotechnology & Molecular Biology, designed and developed for those with basic knowledge of Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry & Microbiology and looking for a career in Biotech and Pharmaceuticals Companies as well as in research institutions in India and abroad. This training will prepare the candidates with knowledge in advanced technologies currently employed in research and designing of experiments together with hands-on-training in advanced techniques in molecular biology, biotechnology and drug discovery. Actual research data from the labs of training director and instructors will be discussed, and handouts provided.

Certification:

Those who will successfully complete the course (For CER 01 to CER 04), and pass the 3 exams (Only for CER 05) will be given a certificate.

Eligibility Criteria For:

Program CER-01 to CER-04:

The candidates of B. Sc. Biotechnology, B-Tech. Biotechnology, M. Sc. Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biochemistry/Other Life Sciences & M. Tech. in Biotechnology or Microbiology either Pursuing or passed out can apply.

Program CER-05:

The candidates of B.Sc., B.Tech. M.Sc. Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biochemistry/Bioinformatics/Other Life Sciences, M. Tech. in Biotechnology or Microbiology Only passed out either Fresher or Experienced can apply.**Ph. D. Fresher candidate can also apply.

2. Scholarship Details For Program Code CER-05:

► Candidate having less than One Lacks total Family Annual Income will get Scholarship of

Rs. 5000/- (have to present evidence/Paper).

► Candidate scoring more than 90% in Entrance Examination will get 25% fee deduction.

► Candidate scoring more than 75% in Entrance Examination will get 15% fee deduction.

► Candidate scoring more than 60% in Entrance Examination will get 10% fee deduction.

► Candidate Scoring more than 85% in all three Internal Examination will get Scholarship of Rs. 10,000/-

# Scholarship will be provided only once during training period.

# Registration of the candidate would be valid for next three months from the date of

registration. (If candidate is unable to join the current batch.)

# Reservation of the seat by the candidate would be valid for the next six months from the date

SELECTION CRITERIA:

►Selection of candidate will be based on first come first serve basis for Training Program Code – CER-01 to CER-04.

►Selection of candidate will be based on performance in “Online Written Test” for Training Program Code – CER-05. Candidates will get the Questions Paper on their mail-ids as an attachment.

►Candidate who will not be able to reserve his/her seat in current batch will be considered for

next batch if he/she is registered.

► Scholarship is available only for Training Program code CER-05.

Dear Sir,

Earlier to CloneGen session, I really don't have exposure on R & D work, when I came to CloneGen I learned critical thinking and designing experiments, like choosing a right technique from a pool of techniques in a right time to solve a problem.

Reading research papers, analyzing the same and clarification of doubts with u, all are wonderful experiences I never found earlier.
